As i wrote in the previous post, i had the possibility to spend a week in Switzerland, and believe me it was a full week! what i recommend is that you visit this country by car (of course not from your home country, but just by renting one there) and why would i give you this tip? Very easy, Switzerland is not recognized for its vast territory, in June of this year the population was 7,639,961, on the other hand in Spain there are 47.150.800 people (data collected from El Instituto Nacional de Estadisticas) just so you have an idea. My suggestions would be to choose 1-2 of the 15 magnificent regions fully explore them in detail. The landscape is impressive, a country to fully discover by following its streets with any means of transportation.....(you will realize what i mean once you look at the pictures of the surroundings......i didn't want to go back to Spain, with all respect towards my lovely country)

I chose to go to the region of Lac Lemàn (Vaud) and Fribourg, this is the official website of Switzerland, i was amazed with the information and illstrations (hope Spain could promote itself with such a website)....here you can choose the region that you find most attractive for your tastes =)

Discovering Sitges...El Pou restaurant

And... we continue in Sitges, this time we change into something gastronomic but with design... It is because I am going to present you a author kitchen restaurant, I am sure you are going to like it ;)

De primero unas sardinas

Patatas Bravas

It is an original way to present the "patatas bravas", at the top there is the tipical they make for the potatos and at the botton there is all the potato concentrate.

Carpaccio de ternera con limón

Beef carpaccio with lemon

Mini Hamburgers with rockit, cheese, bacon and of course the delicious wagyu meat

Brownie, helado de vainilla y plátano

Brownie, vanila ice-cream and banana

"Mojito"

Originally from Japan (“Wa” means “Japan”, and “gyu” refers to cattle), the Wagyu breed dates back centuries. Researchers believe that the breed came to Japan from what is now Turkey in the 2nd century AD.For centuries, Wagyu cattle were protected from human consumption thanks to Buddhism, and were used only for agricultural purposes. Consequently, this breed has undergone very little of the genetic change which would result from crossing with other breeds over time.

With more than a hundred square metres of land per animal, music piped into their sheds, biodegradable bedding and a completely unique diet.Equally concerned by global warming (nine per cent of the gases responsible for the greenhouse effect come from emissions caused by cattle), our animals enjoy an exclusively designed diet that is completely free of additives and so digestible that it produces no pollutant gases and ensures exquisite, healthy beef.
Amplia selección de vinos
Wide variety of wines
In the restuarant there is a well that still working, as you can see has water inside
